Using the Table wizard
To use the Table Wizard to create a new table,
If you intend to create a table type other than dBASE or Paradox, click the Tables tab in the Navigator, and select an alias from the Look In drop-down list. Your new table will be of that alias’s database type.
Choose File|New|Table (or double-click the Untitled icon on the Tables page of the Navigator). The New Table dialog box appears.
In the New Table dialog box, choose Wizard.
In step 1 of the wizard, select the fields you want from the available tables.
In step 2, select a table format type. If you have selected a database alias in the Navigator as described in step 1 of this procedure, that alias appears as the default table type and cannot be modified. To change it, you must exit the wizard and choose a new BDE alias from the Look In box on the Tables page of the Navigator.
Click the Help button on any step of the wizard for details about the options available with that step.
