Deletes a User BDE Alias from a BDE session.

Syntax

<oRef>.deleteAlias(<cAlias>)

The session object from which to delete the specified alias.

<cAlias>

Name of User BDE Alias (up to 31 characters)

Description

The deleteAlias() method can be used to delete temporary BDE Aliases being used in the current _app.session.

In dBASE Plus 2.70 and 2.70.1, deleteAlias() only works on a non-default session.

Beginning with 2.70.2, deleteAlias() works on both the default session and non-default sessions.

Aliases can be deleted in the following manner:

s = new session()

s.addalias("someAlias","DBASE","PATH:C:\test")

d = new database()

d.session = s

d.databasename = "someAlias"

d.active = true

d.active = false

s.deletealias("someAlias")
